PROGRAM

How the brain learns has been the topic of much research in the last twenty-five years, with significant advances in our understanding of how the brain functions.

Research provides answers to such questions as:

  • Does tailoring training to individual learning styles enhance learning?
  • Is single-minded repetition (practice, practice, practice!) the most effective way to enhance mastery?
  • How is memory encoded, consolidated, and retrieved?

As a result of this interactive presentation, participants should be able to:

  • Separate myths from research-based findings about learning and training.
  • Identify strategies for getting and keeping the brain’s attention.
  • Apply brain research on memory to enhance learning and training effectiveness.

Please join Lynne for this engaging session and find out how discoveries in neuroscience provide insights on how people learn and how to engage them in a learning environment.
